How To Dig For Squirrels
This afternoon, we went to Lost Lake Park, a real paradise for squirrels. Here in Fresno, it's still cold and gray. My mom said that's why the ground squirrels weren't outside like usual. That didn't stop me from doing a little digging on my own to see what would turn up. Too bad! Despite my best excavation techniques, there wasn't a squirrel to be found. Maybe next time...

Here we don't have squirrels to chase, but sure I'd use your technique if one day I see one!
Have a good night

Err, I thought squirrels don't live underground? You sure that's not a rabbit or snake hole? Heeheehee...
Thanks for the New Year's wish Ripley. I hope one day squirrels will start to migrate to Malaysia then we doggies can have fun with them!
Love licks,

Ripley, your excavation technique is very similar to mine and together, we might be able to make some progress on gopher detection and removal. People seem to get very excited and think you are really a very special dog if you catch a gopher. At least that is what they tell the cat. I am really only a rodent "detector" and leave the "extermination" job to the cat. After all, I am a retriever and am supposed to have the highest of integrity when I have something in my mouth to deliver to my people. You should have seen the look on my mom's face when I brought a dead rat up to the door!
Happy New Year to all the dogs who are visiting Ripley's Blog & Vlog!
